iNwe – Child Safety Policy

Effective Date: 9th July 2025

App Name: iNwe

Category: Chat / Social Communication

At iNwe, we are committed to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all users. Protecting children from exploitation, abuse, and inappropriate content is a top priority. This Child Safety Policy outlines the measures we take to maintain a secure and positive experience, particularly in chatroom environments.

1. Age Requirement

  • iNwe is not intended for users under the age of 13, or under the applicable age of digital consent in your country.
  • Age is confirmed during the registration process.
  • Accounts found to be created by underage users will be terminated, and their data will be deleted in accordance with applicable laws.

2. Room Chat Monitoring

To ensure safety within public spaces of the app:

  • All room chats are actively monitored by iNwe admins and staff to detect and respond to inappropriate content, bullying, or other harmful behaviour.
  • Admins have the authority to warn, mute, or ban users who violate our community standards.
  • Users can report any concerning behavior or content directly to our support team for review.

3. Community Guidelines Enforcement

Users must comply with strict community standards, which prohibit:

  • Sharing explicit, violent, or abusive content
  • Harassment, bullying, or threats
  • Grooming or solicitation of minors
  • Sharing of personal or sensitive information

Violation of these rules may result in temporary or permanent suspension and, if necessary, referral to appropriate legal authorities.

4. Reporting Mechanism

iNwe provides in-app tools to report:

  • Inappropriate chatroom behavior
  • Harmful or suspicious user activity
  • Profile content that violates safety policies

Reports are reviewed by our safety team within 24-48 hours, with priority given to serious cases involving potential child harm or exploitation.

5. Parental Guidance and Education

While iNwe is not intended for children under 13, we encourage parents and guardians to supervise their child's use of any social or communication app.

We also provide safety tips and encourage users to:

  • Avoid sharing personal information
  • Report any suspicious or uncomfortable interactions
  • Be respectful and cautious in all communications

6. Prohibited Content and Zero-Tolerance Policy

iNwe enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Grooming or exploitative behavior
  • Threats or violence toward minors

Any content or behavior that violates this policy will result in immediate action, including user removal and escalation to appropriate authorities, where required.

7. Third-Party and Data Compliance

iNwe only integrates third-party services that comply with child safety, privacy, and data security laws.

We do not use advertising SDKs targeting children and we do not share user data with advertisers or unauthorised parties.

8. Policy Review and Commitment

This Child Safety Policy is reviewed regularly and updated to reflect changes in platform capabilities, legal requirements, and best practices.

We are committed to ongoing improvements to ensure iNwe remains a safe and responsible platform for all users.
